Common Mistakes in Aroma Diffuser Use

Aroma diffusers integrate fragrance diffusion and humidification, making them essential for modern homes. However, many people have usage misunderstandings that affect the effect and health. Professionals summarize common misunderstandings to help you use them correctly.

Mistake 1: Adding tap water. Minerals in tap water will form scale, block the fog outlet, damage the atomizing sheet, and may irritate the respiratory tract. Choose pure water or distilled water.

Mistake 2: Adding too much essential oil. Add no more than 8 drops of essential oil to 100ml water. Excessive amount will make the aroma pungent, causing dizziness and chest tightness, especially harmful to the health of pregnant women and infants.

Mistake 3: Using continuously for a long time. Turning on for 24 hours will lead to excessive air humidity and mold growth. It is recommended to use for 30-60 minutes each time, 1-2 times a day.

Mistake 4: Not cleaning in time. After use, empty the water tank, rinse and wipe it, and soak and clean with white vinegar every week to avoid bacterial growth.

Mistake 5: Using in high-temperature environment. Being close to the stove or direct sunlight will cause the shell to age and essential oil to deteriorate. Place it in a cool and ventilated place. Avoid these misunderstandings to enjoy a healthy fragrance experience.
